As I started to think about what I should write on this, I first asked myself, “Why do people blog anyway?” The answer to that question was apparent to me, people do it to fill the void they have in their daily lives where they wish they would interact with others or they thought of something clever to say, but no audience to share it with, so, they write it down (or type these days) and hope that someone reads it and responds back. (Or, they guilt their friends and loved ones into reading it by the every annoying forward, with the title, just read it quickly, then get annoyed when no one responds to them…but I digress.
I can say with confidence that I started a blog to 1) share some of the things that are on my mind and 2) because I come up with clever things to say everyday, but no one to share them with. You know, when I think about it, I’m just as pathetic as the people I started talking about and wondering why they blog.
So how do I get this out to the millions and billions of www readers out there? This isn’t a youtube video or something that will have hundreds of thousands of hits. Maybe if I attach it to my name, like some other folks I know in their gmail accounts, and when people have a free moment they will read this and then get back to me…yeah, that’s it!
Ok, well, here it goes…if you read this, then email me so that I know it worked, otherwise, I’ll have to find some other way to get rich and famous.
